Opened DLC box now my game is ruined

Thanks heaps for that Atlus - 100k and a bunch of ridiculous items that I havent earned plus apparently the new personas alter the fusion pool. 6 hours in and I have to restart. I didnt even mean to open the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ box I was trying to clean my room.

Any fixes apart from restarting?

Just don't use items, fuse personas? Ingoring personas is super easy, they look different and have picaro in theri names. If you don't like 100k then just use cheat engine to remove that amount

unfortunately there is no fix for this, the only suggestion I have is not using the dlc money by calculating current money you have - 100k = your non DLC money and avoid using accessories from the DLC which you got 10 each as for the consumable items I don't keep track on how many you got them as for DLC persona you can somehow avoid it since those are free in the compendium but you can still get them by fusion. also IIRC even if you don't open the box you will still get those personas.

honestly Atlus should make the DLC box open separately for each package so we can just get the DLC costume

The issue is that the DLC personas actually change the entire fusion pool altering the way it functions - ignoring the DLC personas doesnt fix this.

Are you sure about it? I remember that I was able to beat the game withouth fusing those. And there should be no full compendium achievement in royal if you worried about it

I used Cheat Engine to remove the Items and Money.
Trust me here are people who will try to tell you that the stuff isnt even that balance breaking but it really is and they just play on Easy mode so its not bothering them.

The Personas are harder since you sometimes feel like fusion 2 Personas you trained hard and suddenly you see the fusion is a DLC Persona.
I did it because the game kinda forced me to do it otherwise I would have wasted my time.

I have 1 DLC Persona by fusion and it has more skill variety compared to other personas but since I play the game on hard I still had to grind and have hard endboss fights.

So to sum it up.
Play the game on Hard.
Use Cheat Engine to Remove ALL DLC Items and Money you get.
Dont buy DLC Persona from Velvet Room Register.
Fusion Personas which lead to DLC Personas is something I accepted since I dont want to waste time to get cool personas just to find out the fusion is a DLC Persona.

The fusion pool although altered is really no hindrance when it comes to fusing strong personas. I didn't use a single dlc persona and had no problems creating my boy Yoshitsune that laughs and kills everything in one attack while being immune or draining incoming attacks. Also, had no problems with Alice as she sent her exploding teddy bears on the march. I don't really get your issue though. 100k is chump change, you don't have to use the accessories, and you can also just ignore the dlc persona. The dlc persona aren't even part of the compendium completion percentage anyway. The only fix I can suggest is you go play the original Persona 5 or something. Making the same obnoxious post a handful of others have made really serves no purpose. If you want attention from Atlus go contact them and voice your complaint.

You can still fuse DLC personas because - surprise! - some people want to get the content they want without using the DLC box, that gives them additional useless items. So I guess just git gud? /jk

That's what I did, reading this thread I now found out you also need to be careful when fusing personas tho... I hope I don't have a DLC Persona already

there are mods to remove/disable DLC items. I personally just have the DLC personas disabled as I dont want OP personas right off the bat. I kept outfits and items since those are just fun
