Maruki?

I heard you need to get your rank up with him akechi and Kasumi to get the secret ending. What is the best way for Maruki? I cannot seem to find him at school.

Maruki is available..
Before 20th SEP, Monday and Friday during school days.
After 20th SEP, any day during school days (not everyday, there are some exceptions).

I don't think thats true. Summer has story reasons why he isn't available. From what I know school being in session is the only time you can see him.

He's a counselor for the students afterall.

Maruki's hangout spot is the Nurse's Office on the first floor of the practice building, and if you have a Councillor persona and follow a guide I don't think you ever have to hang out with him outside the seven mandatory ranks.

You're about to enter the 4th palace of the game. Without spoiling it'll lead to summer break thus you won't be able to go to school. During story sequences like this you normally can't do confidents.

You don't have to go inside, when he's available he texts you or stands right outside the office.

Well, I mean its more substantial than just an ending.
Heck, even bigger than its equivalent in Persona 4 Golden.
