But yeah, Wooshaq, I was put off at first as well but it's easier than you think to ignore them. Haven't used them unless I fuse them myself and the balance has been okay- same for the DLC accessories.
"Disable Free DLC Personas" on gamebanana. Alternatively there is another mod called "DLC Persona Rebalance" which also does this along with some changes to stats.
Personally I am not going to use anything that will make me overpowered early in the game. It's bad that you get a lot of money early on, but (as noted earlier) that money does not give you a huge advantage.
If you want to experience the game to the fullest, you just have to restrain yourself. A bit of self-discipline is certainly needed, but you will get a lot better experience as a reward.
Still - It would be nice if you could choose witch DLC you would like to activate and witch not. A lot of games have that option, and I think it's sorely missing here.
