Worth buying on steam?
I own the xbox game pass and can play it on PC for free, so I am wondering if its worth buying on steam instead, any thoughts?

its its 50$ then yes go for it but if it full price then no

the 60 price is a valid price as you get 40+ DLC with it, people seem to forget that. It's roughly 55$/€ value that's for free, also never say that you can play a game for free on Game Pass. You still pay for it :)

You will own Persona5 on steam and you will be happy.

i'll be buying it on steam to support the pc port, and i just like having games on steam much more than any other platform. it's up to you, but this game is well worth $60 imo and this will be the best version of it

I think you guys all have me sold, I feel like my wallets gonna yell at me but I like having games on steam, now if only they had preorder and preinstall....

9.5-ish days to go, perhaps the last week might be preorder/preload :)
the game have 100+ hours of content. leisure could 150 or 200. completionist or back to 1 to get other ending that another story. i dont know about game pass but it worth to own than having to renew subs every month depend on people.

the only reason i'll be getting it on steam because all of my game are on steam, also buying the game instead of playing it through gamepass will allow me to replay it as long as i want

Forcing rubbish DLC in does not make it valid to be a full price release.

It should be $40 tops because the game is almost 10 years old but that's my take :lunar2020thinkingtiger:

Forcing your opinion on to others does not make it a fact. It does make it a valid for full price, that you don't like it your problem, but that doesn't count for other people.

Do you enjoy mods on PC games? If you do, go for the Steam version later when it's on sale. If not, with the Game Pass version you're good to go. There are some people that prefer steam to properly "own" the game, mods and achievements and all that like myself, but the mileage may vary for you.

In the end, it depends if you care to have everything on your Steam library

Depends on how long you want to play it really

If one playthrough is going to take 60 hours, and you want to do several playthroughs for different outcomes (i.e. romances, endings, etc.) then I'd just go with Steam at that point.

If you're a "Play once and done" type of player, then I'd go with gamepass.

if you really want mods, then yes you probably should buy it on pc.
