Japanese devs are known for tying physics, animations and other things to the framerate.
It's an incredibly stupid design philosophy that basically all western devs have abandoned about two decades ago, but even companies like From Software still did that until relatively recently (e.g. Dark Souls 1 & 2).
Mods often aren't able to circumvent that kind of lazy programming.
Though I have a 144 Hz monitor, I think it's ok if this will be locked to 60 FPS, even though it'd be nicer if it wasn't, of course.
I'm rather concerned about most likely not having ultra wide...
