Personally, I've purchased and played a dozen or so games with Denuvo and did not notice any issues that were caused by Denuvo. I'm not denying that Denuvo can cause issues or has caused issues, but I am saying that I personally have not experienced any.
On October 21st Persona 5 royal PC is coming to - a certain "game pass" (that also includes PC games) that costs 1€ to test for the first month...
Okay SEGA - there goes your sale - well done!
Or yeah, just do this lol. Probably the best option if you don't want to wait and detest Denuvo (or if you like saving money).
I just want to throw my money at Atlus, personally.
I have zero problems supporting a developer/publisher that actually cares. I also have no real problem with DENUVO (if it is removed from a game after a certain time). I just refuse to support SEGA's DENUVO titles.
If Denuvo won't be removed, then emulation is the way to go, and I do not feel bad about it.
Yes, this is the mentality of, "If it doesn't affect me, no one else matters." While it affects countless people and their games, you continue to contribute to the problem. It's very shortsighted.

It's about sending a message, whether it be heard or not. I don't care if the company hears it. It's the consumers that needs to sit up and take notice so they can send a message that matters to the companies: Money. If companies stand to lose a profit, they will most likely do something about it.
Meh I don't use those game pass thingies. I prefer to OWN my games and not just rent it.
Yeah and then they'll lose income due to everybody and their mum pirate the crap out of the games. It's their right to use a DRM to protect their IP.
Both your statements contradict the other.
DRM essentially is renting the game. The games existence depends on the DRM's support. Offline games with DRM essentially mean they are online games. Consumers who don't know about pirating will be punished for paying for a game they themselves have the rights to.
Yes, the investors have the right to "protect" their investment. They don't care about the consumers. They are naive to think this will stop pirates. DRM's are essentially added to appease the investors. DRM has NEVER stopped pirating and never will.
People who complain about DRM are those who don't want to resort to pirating and actually own the games they pay for.
I dislike DMR, but not enough to keep myself from playing the game. It hasn't caused enough issue for me to make me even consider not buying it.
