Demo Review: Good Show
Tell Some Story: Foz is a hidden little gem I found in the Steam Next Fest. I was expecting something a little less serious initially, but I was quite impressed with how intense and challenging this game turned out to be. Definitely one of the more complete demo experiences that I got to play. This short demo review is to give my support.

I always like a good cyberpunk story. Although this one does downplay the cyberpunk setting a little bit, focusing more on a more general civil dystopia, that isn't at all a bad move for the kind of crime drama and action this game sets up. The story is simple, but quite well composed with good dialogue and an engaging mystery. Gameplay wise, I would compare it to like Hotline Miami: Guns everywhere and death is almost instant. The game leans towards difficult, and winning battles takes some desperate shooting and a bit of luck. Overall though, its closer to something like The Order: 1886 or A Way Out. Its a movie with an action game, and the balance between action and story scenes is done very well. The game doesn't jarringly shift between 'shoot mode' and 'speak mode', but rather they are blended well together and paced so as to not be dull nor lose the plot. Overall, tense, challenging, and dramatic throughout.

The only hard criticism I can come up with is the ragdoll physics. The player gets stuck a little too easy when firefights take place in a doorway. A little improvement on the translation too, and I'd call this one quite professionally made.

If the devs read this: Good show and solid demo. Looking forward to the release, and good luck with the rest.

I apologize for answering for so long, now I spend a lot of time correcting the shortcomings that they wrote to me in the feedback.

About the ragdoll. I fixed this problem by adding weights to the main character, now there are no stuck bodies in the bodies. added tutorials and many more details, hopefully the release will be able to please you. I plan it in January / February.

Thank you for taking the time to play my game. :steamhappy:
