Gamepad hints are wrong?

Hi!

I saw some messages that hints for gamepad actions are wrong. I tested the game with PS4 and Xbox controllers and everything seemed fine. If you can provide me exact models of controllers where hints are wrong, I'd buy and test the game with them.

For now I can't fix it.

I have experienced this when using the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.

I don't have Bluetooth on my PC, so it doesn't work at all.

And it seems you can change it in Steam options: https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/comments/10p7ira/nintendo_switch_button_layout/

I'll try to fix it when I have Bluetooth though.

8Bitdo M30 controller took some small tweaking to do.
The controller can be used as a switch pro controll, X input or D input.

I remember the switch pro configuration didn't reflect the controls on stream but the icons in the menu dont actually specify what button is what. it just shows a layout. I also couldnt go to reconfigure in switch pro mode

Either way I switch my controller to X input and i was able to reconfigure it from the menu.

I'll confirm this again when I get a moment, this is all off what i remember.

Oh, it's like Genesis controllers. I don't think I can make icons for these ones, sadly.

i backtracked, its an issue with 8bitdo mapping. the right shoulder button is the left trigger when in x input mode, so in game i see l trigger as the button.
I verified this using windows control panel > game controller settings.

I noticed that i couldn't revisit the mafia office in the same day once i stepped outside of it. Is this by design? I only stepped out because I had a dialogue with the head guy in the back , where he asks me to sit down. When trying to progress the dialogue my character got out of the chair instead.
