Kinda lost on what exactly am I suppose to be doing *minor spoilers*

Ok, so I've been playing this game for a bit. I started today. So far I've just been beating up the green gang and raising Azuma's stars. So far I got a letter saying Chiba is getting out of Jail next week, I got a letter about Chiba getting out of Jail, and I seen a flash back of Seiji in highschool. Lastly, I have a photo of a guy with blonde hair and green pants and suppose to find him but don't know where.

Is there anything that is suppose to guide me like the map or anything. What exactly should I be doing aside from beating up goons over and over

there is a guide on here that helps you find the targets, but the format of the game is to feel around and figure everything else, there are a huge amount of different paths you can take in completely different directions. The core of the game is in fact beating up other yakuza families to capture turf, but for the story beats just pay attention to the dialogue in cut scenes, they will tell you what to do (for example, you got a letter saying Chiba is getting out of jail, go to the jail location the next day and you will meet Chiba as he comes out of jail). Don't be afraid to play multiple runs, experiment, start over if you feel stuck or want to try something different.

You will need to retry the game a lot to experience everything, like every Yeo games, the best way to play it is to put yourself in the shoes of the protagonist and go on for a day to day life. Events will unfold naturally

Try to figure out from the photos where each one is set. Every underboss will be in one of the two places they were photographed and they never move.
