Game freezes when playing online

Has anyone else had the game freeze when you play online with friends? When one particular friend joins, the game constantly freezes. His internet connection is fine, etc, every other game works, it's just issues with Bopl Battle paid version. Has this happened to anyone else or know how we can resolve it?

happens to us too, sometimes it freezes for so long that the lobby disbands, and no idea how to fix it
