This game is surely dead...

Firstly i need to thank you all for reading this

So... I bought this game 1 month ago and I am really loving it, it is probably my fauvorite fighting game of all time (maybe below smash ultimate but surely above multiversus, nickelodeon all star brawl and rivals of aether 2) but it seems that the game is kind of dead... I hardly find players nowadays and there are no updates at all since august. (im not counting bug fixes)... So yeah i think this game might be dead sadly

the game is an evergreen and i always find someone to play with. if not friends then randos. i think your social circle is dead or does not play games with you

good news for you its updated again, its a small update but its nice considering the games finished

not dead. just slow development.
if you can't get online games try asking people you know to play with you.

also beam can be easily countered by fast projectiles like arrows and grenades and things that give you invincibility like rock and platform.

This game has a small player base because there's practically no marketing and word of mouth is slow. The gameplay is endless as a result of the amazing combos, and so it doesn't need updates as often. Admittedly, it could use an extra dev or two, but zapray did a good enough job that it can get by on just him.
If your bored, play all random and have fun.

true. they didn't do any marketing.
I bought it because it keeps appearing on my home page among "Recommended for you".
(I tried the demo first with a friend of mine because we were really bored) the game was incredible and very fun so I bought it.


unfortunately it's like other party games, you only start it on a night out with friends, it's not the kind of game you can play whenever you want (it even says so in the description, "You need friends to play")

Simplest way to counter beam is with a smoke bomb. Just blow 'em up!
