A Daggerfall/Morrowind spiritual sequel? Nice
A bit late to the party, but I played Daggerfall unity and quite enjoyed for what it was, especially how fun making OP characters is, I hope that Wayward Realms will be as exploitable as their forefathers were.

Daggerfall did OP stuff with style at least.
Like early wereboar/wolf coupled with the ring of hircine to deal with the side effects of lycantropy.

Well, our goal is to make it more balanced, but we will have magic crafting, so there is a lot of potential there.

I think that the main problem Daggerfall had balance wise was the character creator, a lot of supremely busted things could be achieved before even playing the game with enough theory crafting, (Among the most famous were spell absorption, playing around the difficulty slider and all the different combinations of immunity), if you were to tone those aspects down and implement them into the game in some way (Maybe trough said magic crafting), I do think it's possible to create that bridge between fairness and being outright broken.

But then again, I'm not dev, I'm throwing around ideas for the sake of it, thanks for the reply btw, cannot wait to see how Wayward Realms will turn out to be eventually.

Yeah, as much as I loved them in DF, it's probably for the better, still, I would have also welcomed to maybe have seen them capped to 50%, so that while still undeniably really good, they wouldn't end up trivializing the game, then again, I obviously need to see the game in its entirety to understand if that's even a good balance change in the first place.
