That's good to hear!
Seriously Devs, keep in mind that even "Cyberpunk 2077" faced massive criticism for not implementing a TPP-option.
Seeing your char moving and fighting in some newly obtained gear is a must in games like this nowadays. Just facts.
Again, thank you devs for paying attention and for implementing this feature, however it works.
Daggerfall didnt have third person. Arena didnt have 3rd person. Morrowind didnt have first person, but did have a rotating camera view. I dont think Oblivion had 3rd person either. The 3 best games in the series did not have 3rd person. Didnt need it. They said this game will resemble Daggerfall. If it doesnt have 3rd person view, it will still be one of the best games. But hopefully it will at least have a rotating camera view like Morrowind so you can get a good look at your character. And that is all I would want. First person view is all that is needed and is a big part of the immersion. Just because there is a loud minority clamoring for 3rd person view, doesnt mean it would be a good design choice. If a game is really outstanding, the lack of 3rd person would be overlooked by all. Its not gonna be a deal breaker for anyone.
Well, that opinion is fine for you. However, no harm comes to you or your immersion with there being an optional 3rd person view.
It is 100% necessary. An absolute buy-or-don't-buy criterion not only for me but many, many other players.
Who needs these 1st-person-only games? It's the year 2022... seriously.
