Bigger doesn't mean better. Please don't forget to put a interesting, engaging main story line. Players don't stay if there is no reason in game to attract them. Take a look at Atomfall. Usually when I hear procedurally generated my expectations go to 0 many games that use this technique are described as "as vast as an ocean and as shallow as a puddle" do they have a plan to avoid this? - How will the game do procedural generation on this scale without filling the huge world with the bland, soulless, "samey" content that many have come to expect for procedural games? only unique on a technical level but will become boring after a few hours?...
