Press enter to enter game?

I boot the game, I have my right hand on the mouse, left hand on the WASD keys and the game wont unlock unless I press enter - why such an intuitive thing? Petty I know but annoying AF, just add mouse left click as an option come on.

The shown prompt is the standard "confirm" prompt within the games controls, for gamepad parity, which also includes LMB. So you can just click through those screens.

The only thing that seemed kinda weird to me is the Enter key near my numpad doesn't work the same way as the Enter key near my right Shift key. I guess not all Enter keys are created equal.

Please add double mouse click (LMB X2) for entering the game as well (maybe with an cool sound cue as an easter egg :)))

I...get you, it seems like a minor thing but if you play small sessions it starts to stack up, it is odd that you can't click to get past it, you can click after loading up saves and stages tho'.

I think the OP may be referring to the splash screen where ONLY enter works. LMB doesn't. It's something I noticed too. It's unusual but, whatever. No biggie.

No I can't main menu prompt that unlock the main menu does not unlock with LMB

No, you can't. Clicking does not work, you have to press enter.

That's because the "Enter" key at the Shift key is not the Enter key but Carriage Return. They used to serve different functions back on the DOS days or so.

That one second to press enter really adds up!
