Which salutor did you use the most and which one the least? (possible spoilers)
I definitely used Golem the least, mostly because he doesn't have one turn attack. Figured I'm better off with single turn attacks and found other salutors' skills more useful. Let me know if you think otherwise.

To game dev's credit, I think other salutors were balanced well enough that I didn't have one that I'd use that much more over the others. I remember there was one fight that I kept losing until I used Lelek almost every single turn, which made the fight almost easy. Other than that I thought each one of them had at least one ability/attack that you'd have to use at some point.

Good stuff overall, I thought the combat system was designed well enough so that you wouldn't become too OP or be bored fighting the same way every time.

I think I ended up using them all but Djinn and Lelek the most... Veles, too. His 50% luck chance is often on my side.
Krampus... barely. Didn't really understand his abilities.
Golem... not at all. Cause I kept my promise.

You are a better person than I am, I broke my word just so I can see what Golem can do. :)
Turns out nothing that other salutors can't, and even his damage was unimpressive. And that's another decision by devs that I appreciate, players that chose to honor their word did not get penalized with diminished combat abilities.

Kinda glad you say that haha I wondered if I missed out on something really strong but I just hate to break my word, in games or RL. :D Specially if it's uncalled for! (Rasputin low-key asked for it, for eg) Plus Ariel's a cool dude and I kinda murdered his BFF with that Golem soooo... yeeeeah.
The only think that irked me was that I couldn't develop Deed any further in the skill tree but you can't max out everything anyway.

Yea, I normally try to be decent too but salutor greed got the better of me. A low point for me when I came back to ask Ariel for help but he was badly beaten because I deprived him of Golem. So in his own fashion he told me to f*** off one more time and then died. My betrayal got rewarded with rotten feeling and a useless salutor. :/

*slowly puts on sunglasses* Well, well, well if it isn't the consequences of your own actions!

Yup, just like in RL, isn't it? :)

Thaumaturge is a great game, too bad I already finished it. Time to look for something else.

Just got Djinn here. I definitely feel like fighting defensively is the key to victory in a lot of the harder fights, especially against later Salutors like Morana and Djinn.

So, honestly, outside of healing with Upyr, I've found myself using Lelek a ton as I get into the more challenging fights that involve multiple states--his ability to remove your negative states and then put them on the enemy is honestly one of the best abilities in the game so far.

That's what makes Djinn + Lelek so great. Cause Lelek can transfer Djinn's "debt" debuff to the enemies.

Definitely too short. :((

That's actually something I had been wondering, because with all the optional side content, I definitely feel like there's a lot to do.

According to the game, though, I'm currently in "Act II," so...what, is this a "three-act play" (game)? Does that mean I'm about halfway already?

Well let me just tell you: you should do everything else before you enter Act III. I had a bit over 30 hours of gameplay and did everything I could. (Chances are I oversaw something ofc and I also missed out two sketches but couldn't find them for the sake of it)
And yeah it's three acts.
I was seriously sad when it was over...

There are three acts. Act III felt kind of short for me, but that's probably because I was done with all the side quests by then. I completed all the side quests and it took me about 31.5 hours to finish the game so maybe that will give you a better idea how far along you are.

I'm pretty sure that the only remaining side-quest I still haven't completed is the Tailor one for unlocking outfits :steamhappy:

Which I'm guessing is kind of something you have to progress through the story for, since it seems like the items required are in the districts you unlock as you go.

There was one thing I could not finish, one street fight in Powisle I believe. Every time I tried the screen would go dark but the fight would never start. Had to reload.

And I did try to have every possible street fight I encountered.
