Krampus... barely. Didn't really understand his abilities.
Golem... not at all. Cause I kept my promise.
You are a better person than I am, I broke my word just so I can see what Golem can do. :)
Turns out nothing that other salutors can't, and even his damage was unimpressive. And that's another decision by devs that I appreciate, players that chose to honor their word did not get penalized with diminished combat abilities.
Kinda glad you say that haha I wondered if I missed out on something really strong but I just hate to break my word, in games or RL. :D Specially if it's uncalled for! (Rasputin low-key asked for it, for eg) Plus Ariel's a cool dude and I kinda murdered his BFF with that Golem soooo... yeeeeah.
The only think that irked me was that I couldn't develop Deed any further in the skill tree but you can't max out everything anyway.
Thaumaturge is a great game, too bad I already finished it. Time to look for something else.
So, honestly, outside of healing with Upyr, I've found myself using Lelek a ton as I get into the more challenging fights that involve multiple states--his ability to remove your negative states and then put them on the enemy is honestly one of the best abilities in the game so far.
Definitely too short. :((
That's actually something I had been wondering, because with all the optional side content, I definitely feel like there's a lot to do.
According to the game, though, I'm currently in "Act II," so...what, is this a "three-act play" (game)? Does that mean I'm about halfway already?
Well let me just tell you: you should do everything else before you enter Act III. I had a bit over 30 hours of gameplay and did everything I could. (Chances are I oversaw something ofc and I also missed out two sketches but couldn't find them for the sake of it)
And yeah it's three acts.
I was seriously sad when it was over...
There are three acts. Act III felt kind of short for me, but that's probably because I was done with all the side quests by then. I completed all the side quests and it took me about 31.5 hours to finish the game so maybe that will give you a better idea how far along you are.
I'm pretty sure that the only remaining side-quest I still haven't completed is the Tailor one for unlocking outfits
Which I'm guessing is kind of something you have to progress through the story for, since it seems like the items required are in the districts you unlock as you go.
And I did try to have every possible street fight I encountered.
