Thanks for such a thoughtful review! Really great to see someone appreciate all the little details we tucked into 1905 Warsaw - especially those lore notes! 😊
And that comparison to Gwent for the combat? That's quite the compliment! 😄
Thanks for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback. Keep channeling that inner Thaumaturge! 🙌
It's nice to read something directly from the producer!
I read literally EVERYTHING. Papers, notes, books, groceries lists. Even obituaries xD Actually this is the first game I play this way. I tried this with Witcher 3 but it's action RPG so in game with real-time action reading everything slows down the tempo a bit too much. The Thaumaturge - I guess - is a game to enjoy slowly. To enjoy every detail of Warsaw. Also detectivesque style helps here. There's no reason to rush and I like it. It's also funny to read all those lines in polish (I'm Polish btw) and hearing curse words that sounds like a poetry when warsaw dialect comes into action and then being cut by some easter egg famous lines (I remember one from Casablanca and one from HP and Azkaban Prison).
Anyway, thanks for making such a good game!
