the combat experience is very bad.
The story is okay, but the combat experience is very bad. Every time I encounter a battle, there is no positive feedback from the battle itself, but it smells long and interrupts my storyline experience, and then I reluctantly close the game.

The production team may consider optimizing the battles, such as expanding the skill pool and switching to a random-card combat mode, or make combat more simple but more rely on attributes.

For me, the combat experience is the absolute highlight of what is already a really great game (especially because it's not a big company production). I really enjoy what I perceive to be a really de-stressed combat system, which combines turn-based combat with pleasantly manageable strategies and, above all, the planning along the course of time is a real highlight in my opinion.
This comment perhaps to show how differently games are perceived using the example of Thaumaturge's combat system; I certainly hope that there will be add-ons/DLCs or at best even a second part.

P.S.: The only two things I could criticize would be the same music for every battle and the difficulty level, which is far too easy with 7 salutors even on challenge ;)
