How to reduce Pride flaw level?
Is it me or the pride level cannot be reduced when it got to high? My story is being cucked when playing the main story quest? And the Quest keep ramping the pride level because I was forced to pick the pride answer and thus increasing more pride level?

Pride is a virtue. Just be more proud.

I am getting Pride as high as possible unless there are some better story options..

You mean...it does the thing it explicitly warns you about? That as you become more prideful, it becomes more all-encompassing? That's wild.

From the look of it, yes and it going to lead to bad ending from what I see (i still at early act 2). And seeing dev won't say anything about this issue. Once you get to high pride, you only path is bad ending

🤣 From the look of it. Pride high lead to bad ending. So your better story option is gone?

I don't think that's possible... you can stop pushing Pride, but lowering it doesn't seem to be an option.

After all, the game is all about making decisions and dealing with their consequences.
How do you even check the level? I haven't seen any signs so far that my actions have leveled anything up. I've taken quite a few prideful actions, and I'm worried about maxing it out without realizing it.

I'm starting to get a bit frustrated by this, because it seems clear that the "best" route is to level it up some, but not to max.

The obvious place would be the flaw tab under the Thaumaturgy menu, but the tooltip doesn't say anything about how much I've advanced Pride.

What I got from the dev is, go to the flaw tab and move to the proud flaw. It will only show description on what proud level. From initial to growing strong then dull proud

A high pride does NOT lead to a bad ending. In fact, it even seems that one ending will be bad because of low Pride (at least that was the case for me, I played several endings in one run and one ended REALLY bad because my Pride was too low!) However if you already reached the point where your Pride makes decisions for you, then yeah. You fed it too much. Simple as that.

That's what the game is about (and is imo also great): it does not show you the paths you can not take. You will never know, so it's up to you to decide if you want to feed it more or not. It's like with dialogue options that aren't available because of decisions you made. You won't get to see what the option even is.

I'm fine with not seeing what the option even is, but every time I see "this is not available due to your choices," it's a bit irritating. I replayed the Reptilian Bash quest a few times trying to explore the outcomes, and that popped up on one of the plays, and I couldn't figure out what I had done that blocked it off. It hurts replayability to not be able to know what choices actually matter. I'm more likely to make similar choices to my first playthrough unless there's an obvious branching point, and sometimes, it's super subtle.

Just to clarify: should "initial" there be "integral?"

If so, I guess it hasn't leveled up yet, which is surprising to me!
I just started getting, "Your pride level is too low to use this option." So I assume I'm doing something odd.

No you're not. I even once had "your pride level is too low" AND "your pride level is too high" in one dialogue. :D
