But then again it's an AA studio. They probably didn't have the budget for super optimization.
Is its really using UE5, I thought it was a UE4 game with the footage I've seen.
Wow. You dont realize graphics have nothing to do with style of game? We have high octane flashy ultra action done in sub Playstation 1 era graphics, all the way to walking simulatores or mere dialogue tree choices going for bangers photorealistic graphics (like say Detroid become Human or the dark pictures)
Graphics are just a matter of budget and business+market choices. I love turn-based games from the crudest indies with bad 2d art to higher productions like Marvels Midnight Suns so they would get my interest regardless- but the better the graphics the wider net you cast for public interest and possibly sales. Yes i want to see pretty pixels warsaw post ww 1. Oh with freaking cool spirit/demons on top and very cool Rasputin done really well i can see upclose and interact with? Wait he will be my friend in the game and hes not even the creepiest thing in the game? With next gen graphics? Take my money! (if my gpu can take it i mean)
Pretty or not, I can't run it, so no point in purchasing.
Yeah. Unreal Engine 5 is very demanding. modern RTX card is a must, especially since more and more games will use this engine in the future (like Witcher 4).
