Game Freezing after playing for a while.
So I play for some time (1-2hours) no problems, then during a battle it starts to "lag" and then it will freeze my whole system. Doesn't even crash, it just freezes everything (have to restart computer). It always starts DURING a battle (i.e. lag which leads to freezing system).

Any solutions yet? I looked around I can't find any (that I haven't noticed already that is).
I see people have been having crashing and freezing at the START of main menu and loading in game but that never happens to me. It's after playing for a while and DURING a battle.

More updates I see are coming along (patches, fixes etc.) but just wondering if anyone has any ideas now.

This only happens with this specific game. Not with any other games I've been playing.

looks like the game eats annourmous ammount of video card memory

DLSS seems to be leaking memory, did not try the other resolution scaling options. Disabling the resolution scaling stopped freezes at least for me.

Edit: Fixed the right option name...

Something similar happens to me, but not only in combat, at any time, sometimes the game freezes, and other times it crashes.

Sometimes I get an error message and I get a message with the graphics card.
But I already checked it while playing until it crashed again but I didn't see anything strange with the GPU.

The truth is I don't know what it could be because like you, the first few hours of the game I didn't have any problems but now after a while either the game freezes and I have to restart the PC or it crashes.

In options, Turn off Resolution scaling ENTIRELY. FIxed my issue. couldn't rest at a park bench without the game crashing before. now it only crashes if i alt+tab too long :P

Ah you mean the other upscalers? I have DLSS on quality with frame generation OFF.

Hmmmm could be the DLSS......

You know that's a good idea I didn't think of.

If it happens to me again, I'll try playing without DLSS until a fix can be made for it (if that is what is causing it).

Yeah, sorry, I meant the resolution scaling. Remembered that the DLSS option was linked to frame generation but it was the resolution scaling on top. Disabling the resolution scaling entirely fixed the problem for me.
