How well does it run? It does stand to reason that it works on Deck, since it has native controller support but does it stutter, or have any noticeable shortcomings?
Actually, my Steam Deck is on SNES level already. So NES won't qualify. Sorry! 🤡
Don't know and I'm interested, too.
As "robilar5500" said "... Consider as being VERIFIED ..." - I assume they had no serious problems, playing this game on Steam Deck.
BUT, as there is no official rating and despite it is working fine today - there is no guarantee that the devs will support Steam Deck in future versions.
Although, I would expect them to do so - the game was released just recently and multiple updates and maybe expansions are likely to come. No one knows by now how they could affect Steam Deck compatibility.
That said, I would take the risk, myself, and buy and test it on my Steam Deck. And, if not satisfied, refund. Otherwise, stick with it and keep my fingers crossed neither the devs nor Proton will break SD compatibility in the future.
Cool. Give us an update on your further experiences, later, please. Have fun! :-)
The FPS drops happen under three specific circumstances for me, but infrequently: when it rains, when the game is trying to catch up to you running around outside despite rendering being immaculate, and during some conversations. The crashes both happened at the end of combat when transitioning to a conversation.
To me, these are general game optimization issues.
And battery life is just under two hours for me.
Maybe I am missing something? Can anybody tell?
How was the experience? Any game breaking issues, etc?
The problem was that I was using R1 instead of R2.
