Question [spoilerish] about Assassin elf
It's been a while since I've been on the game and I can'r remember all the characters' names, can't find them on wiki or online search either, so sorry if I don't get the names right. The hunter elf, Maelayse I think?, is captured in my good-ish dragon playthrough and I am trying to convince her to join up. Even have the former city official, Heolise I believe, talk her into a threesome. When I convince her to willingly come to me, she ends up mind-broke regardless of how gentle I am. It might work for an evil playthough, but it only gets me down this time. Can there be some way to restore her in act V? If necessary, maybe even have Heloise use a bit of her hypnosis skill to put her back together, add in some personality alteration such as directing her to becoming more suited as a concubine or loyal assassin.

Side note. Been a while since I checked on it and may have missed it in update news. Has anything been elaborated on fates of subjects given to you court magician? Always seemed a bit limited. Such as, you could turn Naho into a 'proper concubine' or horrify her by making her dragon-like, yet you never interacted with or heard anything about them again.

Not exactly answering your first question, but there is an option to make Maelys a bit more comfortable if Marie Anne is free to roam in your lair an if you visit Maelys (potentialy mutiple times). Of course, you have to pick the most "lawfull good" dialog choices during the scene. That's the best I reached with Maelys in "good" playthrough.

Regarding your side note, in the new versions (since ~November 2021), you can ask the magician about the test subjects fate, and he will answer with a couple of text boxes, but nothing more.

What awaits in Act V, we won't know until it's out. For the time being, the "good" solution to Maelys' storyline is to *refuse* to sex her up when she asks. Whether the "horrible accident" path will have it's own follow-up in Act V is unclear at this time.

Regarding Malagar's experiments, giving Naho over to him will prompt some interesting discoveries, which he will divulge to you on a later visit. Other than that, I don't think any of his experiments have practical applications, aside from increasing his morale. This, too, may change come Act V.
