Tips for Quest 3 tracking issues

Hello! Beautiful game. My hope is to use this to get my partner used to kayaking before a vacation.

I'm using one of those kayak stick attach accessories from amazon for a more authentic feeling experience.

Unfortunately, I'm experiencing severe tracking issues where the paddles "wig out" whenever one controller ends up outside the field of vision. It's primarily a hardware level issue, while in the meta menu I can see the headset struggle to consistently give accurate positions when I'm using this accessory.

I've tried the obvious steps to improve tracking accuracy, like using fresh batteries and playing in a well lit room. Any other suggestions? Any specific recommended accessories? I wonder if it's more accurate if I get an accessory for my Q2 instead, since those controllers have those ring things to help with tracking.

If you want precise tracking, buy controllers from quest pro.
Quest 2 controllers should work better, but this theory is unconfirmed.

Maybe to avoid costs, just take your controllers in your hand.
