It is possible the update caused some issues. Make sure you update to the hotfix 6.6a version!
After installing this latest patch the AE in road mode derailed at Bryson entry in the last bend before the yard on the mainline, coming from the east. AE was driving a P43 with 4 Passenger cars @ 25 mph (!!) , brakes setting at low.
Luckly could load a save I did couple minutes before to follow the AI. This time all looked normal.
Never had this issue in 2024.6.5, probably some dozen times the AI driving (a timetable) exactly this config.
Speaking of brake settings, I'd LOVE to have a third one like 'hardcore' or 'realistic' with even lesser brake power.
Would that be possible at some point?
I can't really speculate how deep our development will go that way... But we would like too!
Thanks a lot for answer Dorni !
I'm really excited to see what you're developing. In any case, I am confident that it will be as excellent as everything so far.
Version is 6.6a
2 derails occured at 15 mph.
First derail was heading into Whittier from Whittier Interchange at 15mph, both tender and coach derail over the switch point with the switch correctly aligned into Whittier with the locomotive leading.
Second derail occured when the P-43 and coach left the Whittier wye, Whittier end, with the locomotive leading, derail only occurred on the coach this time.
From what I can tell with both derails, the position of the derail was between the switch and the Whittier track-side sign.
Hope it helps.
Please send me a crane.
