Pulpwood loading time
I finally got my first pulpwood contract. I hauled 4 new cars over to Barker's Creek Pulpwood Spur and set them to loading. After an hour, they had only loaded 6.6 tons. At that rate, it will take over 7.5 hours to fully load them. Is that normal? I mean, logs load in an hour (if there's enough in storage). Do other industrial sources of pulpwood (e.g. Connelly) load faster?

Yes, it takes a lot of time. You can do one trip a day to this location. I have six pulpwood cars. First I delver 3 of them to Barkers and the n three to Conelly P1. Near the end of the day, I pick them up for the return trip. This trip is enough to supply the two customers in Sylva
How much money do you get for 3/6 cars?

The problem is, the tracks in Sylva consume 4 log cars per day but you can only fit 3 into the siding at Bakers and all of Connelly's sidings except tracks P3/P4. These sidings need to be extended by about 10 yards to accommodate 4 pulpwood cars IMO.

Huh? I currently have 4 cars sitting at the Baker's Creek spur loading with pulpwood.
I can fit 4 cars into P1 at Connelly Creek. Remember only a tiny length of car is required to be in the load area. 4 cars also, just, allows use of L1 for logs cars.
