Turntable use

Operating one of the turntables is only possible in first person. Would be helpful to be able to do so in 3rd person view as well. maybe similar as jumping to the SCS with the "3"key
Than one would not have to move ones engineer for it. This as I run most of the time in 3rd person view and keep my engineer at dedicated engine.

Note that you can operate the turntable also from some distance. (Guess first person has long arms and there is no glass at the cabin; but it speeds up turning engines and cars.).

You can operate the turntable in 3rd person as well. Just hover the camera close to the lever inside the shed and pull to the side you want.

Tried but as the cemera doesn't move together with the turntable so it's hard to fix it to the correct rail connection. so think there should be a much more easy way to do this

You can operate in 3rd person easier by starting in 1st person and then changing cameras, as long as you don't release lmb, you'll still be controlling the turntable.

Put a fusee on the rail you want to match up with. That makes it very clear which track to target.

My man just sits in the turntable house at Bryson 24/7. I don't need him for anything else. But then, I don't use the roundhouse either so the tt is set to the side road/ Coal and lumber road almost permanently anyway. My passenger train gets serviced on the 3 longer lines behind the shed when they need it.
