need help with Mack's Ultimate Lettering and Tenderswaps mod
The mod just isn't working for me for some reason, I can't figure out why, and for some reason the post discussion tab is missing on Nexus so I can't ask there. If you have it working, especially if it was broken for you and you managed to fix it, I'd like your help to try and figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I tried using that mod and it wiped out ALL my engines! Took the mod off, and POOF!, engines restored!:steamhappy:

It’s working ok for me. I went to the page where you buy rolling stock and the modified locomotives were all there

I also had issues with this mod, as required in the mod requirements I installed Unity Mod Manager then Asset Asset Loader and finally the tender swap mod. I ended up with duplicate listings of the same modded locomotives. The original mod required you to load two additional mods before loading the tender swaps. Unfortunately that did not work well for me either.

What other mods, if any, are you using? Judging from the information on the mod's page, it's doesn't seem like I have any mods that would conflict, but I might have a problem mod and just not know it. None of the modded engines are showing up for me at all, it's like I don't even have the mod installed, but UMM says it is.

My current mods are UMM: Asset Loader and Passenger UI mod. Railloader : Mudge's Whistle Pack and Bryson Repair fix and a number of Chomers' crossover mods: East and West Bryson, Dillsboro Fuelling,East Whittier and Sylve Paperboard. Also Whittier crossover from a modder with the name Penguin who has his/her own web page. (ever since day one I've wanted a crossover near the Whittier Depot team track and finally found one).
Thinking that there are mods at Nexus and maybe elsewhere that are broken by recent updates and causing weirdness but are still available for download just the same, user beware!
I have a couple of wagons that seem to have lost their way, I think due to other mods I've tried and deleted.
I have tried verifying the game files in Steam Library, it deleted all my Railloader installed mods, easily reinstalled though, and left the UMM mods intact.
Hope this helps with a few that don't seem to do any harm. Mac did say any mods that change lettering would not be compatible with his mod but you probably saw that. :-)

Yup, I did see that, and removed the mod I had that did that. Maybe I should try verifying the files, and then installing my mods again. It's possible the old lettering and tender swap mods left some traces behind that are breaking things somehow.

I ended up uninstalling the game then reinstalling, after the tender swaps issue as removing the mod did not remove the locos from the purchase page. Somehow they imbedded themselves into the core of the game and could not be removed. I also moved the game to a different drive. The big game update earlier this month did not get on with Railloader and the repair tracks behind the Bryson Roundhouse mod. Causing the equipment located on the tracks to disappear except for a loco tender. The only equipment mod I have now is the log car mod. All my other mods are for track changes.

I had the repair track mod, never got round to putting any cars on it and have since deleted it. Mac's tender swap mod still working ok. I had tried and deleted a couple of interchange mods that might have caused some wagons to have their tags messed up, some full coal wagons behaving like they were empty, and empty mining tool boxcar also wanting to return to the coal mine, Sent them back to the mine and they fixed themselves somehow.

The last mod I installed for the Bryson area was the extra passenger station tracks. I used the mod that does not change the passenger transfer area on the second track. This gives me two extra tracks to store coaches on. After the last issue with repair track mods and corrupting the game I will leave them alone for the time being. I would however like a mod that slows the game down to real time though as I find that the current 1.1 game time is not allowing me to finish all the car deliveries in daylight.
Just a heads up, there is a updated Alina’s Map Mod now available.
