when the Experimental becomes into the main game will the version still be available or will we have to switch back to the main

You will find out at some point. There will be another udate on experimentatl later this month.

Just for context: We added the experimental version to give those that had modded games a stable area where they can play the game without the fear of possibly constant updates. Also a place where people could be on the cutting edge as we think stuff becomes good enough for them to try. Finally, a version where mod makers could see what is coming up and anticipate and change their mods for the eventual upgrade to the main branch. It has done exactly all of this and has been incredibly well received.

Eventually, experimental will become the main branch in time. It will be the same thing until we start replacing the experimental with new versions.
