Kirkland? Whoaaaa......
So I play solo. Just how I roll with my work schedule. Installed the Kirkland mod with Foxy's patch. Started it off at T1 the other day. Whoooooooaaaaaaa...........

Just to warn anybody else thinking of doing it, do NOT start at a higher tier than T1. You get 60-70 cars the first day (About 10 supplies and the rest hoppers.) There is a 2.0% grade on the way into the mine. You have to have a large engine to handle outbounds. I got a C-46 and it was protesting loudly trying to take 24 loads out. I've still got another 40 or so to get out and I'm dropping 58 empties right now. This was meant for a multi-player setup so don't ever expect to get to T5 as a solo. It isn't possible from what I've seen. And, yes, I upgraded with Bjorn's East Whitter yard re-do. You kind of have to to have enough interchange space. This is nuts!!!

Fun but.......NUTS!!! :-)

I'm thinking of setting up a separate new game with it's own mod folder just to give it a try. I play solo as well.

It's not that hard to change the numbers so one do'n't get overwelmd , special as a single player. I'm testing atm but initial nbr of cars at T1 after I changed it is 18 of which 5 supplies. looks a lot more manageble

I got Kirkland and the patch and everything is waiting for the timber car to be unloaded at the timber depot. It's been there for 7 or 8 days and it's still full. What am I missing?

Oh, it's not what I'd call overwhelming. Very manageable. Just caught me a bit off guard despite reading up on it before installing it. Requires some extra thinking. Got myself an F-71 last night and it handles all the cars just fine now. My C-46 just struggled too much but now it's doing exclusively mainline freight. I'm anxious to jump to T2 and see how much more it dumps on me.

First thing to check is that you've got it spotted correctly. Hit the <TAB> and see if the waybill indicator is dim or bright. The timber flat goes on a different track than the rest of the supply cars.

It's in the right place.
No idea other than that.

Before Foxy last updated the Kirkland mod having the MRV logging cars or Latoms global whateverwhatever the cars wouldn't unload. The latest patch fixed those issues.
I have been having a blast with this mod as well. I am at tier 3 right now but planning on going to tier 5 once I get to Andrews. Otherwise the interchange would be stuck delivering cars until it's dark out! I find it's manageable with CTC so I can easily put trains into the sidings to keep the coal rolling. Just need to set waypoints on each end of the line and away they go.
I restarted my game with all the mods I had added on. Definitely waiting to get this one going again after I've saved up enough to buy a large enough locomotive. I tried a C-46 and it was too little at T1. Figure I need an F-71 or a T-1 to do it right.
I use two Mastodons and run them back and forth all day until all the cars are cleared out. They can haul about 23-25 loads to Sylvia. I like the shorter trains so that they can fit into sidings incase they run into higher priority trains. Easy to turn them around at Sylvia as well and they fit into one interchange track.
