You may be lacking cars its pretty easy to serve the sawmill once you have enough. I keep cars at L1/2/3. 1 and 3 stack together and get swapped out with L3 cars when empty. Each set rotates twice a day.
Easy money for the effort. Pulpwood by comparison seems to take way more effort and investment and makes less money.
With the main upgrade for log cars being tall stakes about 4 to 5 feet tall in use with 5 logs per log car instead of these small bits of metal in the three logs per log car type in the game.
Same thing with pulpwood for Sylva Paperboard, Parson's Tannery and Snowbird Paper Co paper mill and sending pulpwood off railroad too, and in the case with pulpwood whatever freight car we got to send pulpwood in from Pulpwood cars to Boxcars and I have seen both photos and film footage of boxcars and stock cars being loaded and unloaded with pulpwood.
I'm also going to state another obvious thing: The number of logs that fit on one car depends on how big the logs are. The in-game models go with cartoonishly large logs, any pictures you find of cars with dozens of logs on them are carrying *far* smaller logs than those we got in game. With the massive trunks we see in game, three per car doesn't seem too unreasonable.
Bring up your company information and go to the locations page. When you highlight the various locations listed you will see your performance and tier level if you have a contract with the business. You can also raise the tier level if you have gained enough standing or cancel the contract. However you cannot see any requirements if you do not have a contract with the business.
