Are Oil-Fired Steamers Planned?
It would make a lot of sense, because afaik, and correct me if i'm wrong, the mass majority of steam locomotives were oil fired during the transitional era of Steam>Diesel, So it would be cool to have that option for locomotives that would have it, having some sort of a dual option if you will on the purchase screen to choose whether a locomotive you're buying is oil or coal fired.

It depends on operating area of steam locomotives most steam locomotives at least east of the Mississippi River are coal fired steam locomotives and while west tends to mix of coal and oil fired steam locomotives.

A lot of it depends on where they can get fuel from both in quality, quantity and cost as well.

In my part of the country of USA in Texas it ended up being largely oil fired when days of steam ended mostly down to poor quality coal in Texas being piss poor stuff to fire, and oil being very cheap and of good quality and trying to get good quality coal was expensive to get mainly needing be haul from out of state plus cost in hauling coal can make bill petty expensive.

While Oklahoma has petty good quality coal so it cheap to get and haul and oil being in the same boat regardless where in the state.
