Yeah, a crap load of higher tiers and well...your day is shot running more cars than you can handle!! I run 12 cars at the mill. It is enough IMO.

Tier 4 is probably the best. Run two 10 car trains a day then an extra every once and a while. Just push the cars up and spit the train in the lower two sidings. With 30 cars at tier 5 you need three 10 car trains including messing around with swtichbacks at the end of the line. This makes you $3000+ a day so it's easy money compared to every other industry on the map.

avgwarhawk i agree i went to 3 and found out .
Walta Gaming limited amount of cars will fit the switch backs. oh boy what fun that was

As far as walker logging upper logs .I went to sand box mode .and built a skeleton car consist with engine . To see what would fit in the switch backs. That worked out well for me . For tier 3

Ps use the runaround at the upper log camp . It’s a easy to get stuff flipped around there

The map for the game will show you how many freight cars will fit on each available siding along with the resource that it provides.

Whittier Saw Mill:
R1: Fits 12 Logs
T1: 8/day
T2: 11/day
T3: 15/day
T4: 21/day
T5: 30/day

As for difficulty, at Tier 3 you can accomplish it with effectively two runs a day, 1 up to L2 and another up to L3. Tier 4 you can do pretty easily grabbing the ones from L1 when you grab L3. Tier 5 I use 12 from Walker lower in the mix.

I did tier 4 using only L1 and L2 two runs a day. Now at tier 5, I've added L3 - two runs a day. No need for Walker, although I may do some logging there just for variety.

For me, it doing two runs is extra time, I really don't want to have to deal with running back to do when my focus is farther down the line. There are plenty of ways to meet the requirement
