I don't want to see any E9s or such, those were for big city, long run usage, I prefer small to medium engines for this game's routes.
As far as advance cab controls, nope. Not at the moment, it would just lead down the irritating roads of rivet counting, physics whining, etc. The game works well as an interim type of activity between a world builder and a train sim. Needs a ton of work on UI, AI and buildings, but hopefully it will get there.
Some of the early types appeared well before the second world war, especially on crack passenger trains.
