I'll try it out, thanks!
Strange, with the name switchlist, I thought it was to change switches from a distance :-)
you can do this with the map, just zoom in
I've just recently started using the switch list as a solo player. I do find it handy, not so much right at the start of a new game but once you have cars all over the place. It's just a reminder of what is where and where it needs to go. It saves a lot of teleporting to every car to see if it's ready to be moved to an exchange and comes in quite handy, as I said, once you have a lot of cars spread over the map loading and unloading.
Unless of course you forget to add the damn car to the list....ask me how I know...
Sort by Destination works fine, though.
I'm not sure if you're serious here but.... hit the gear top right of the list and you can chose how it sorts. Default might be car number but unless you had an eidetic memory that's kind of useless. Or you had a clipboard in front of you with all the cars I suppose?
Personally I prefer sort by destination.
By Destination is generally more useful, until you're out in the middle of the map trying to be sure you don't need to go further to get everything going back to the interchange. And then you miss one... :)
