Turntable at Bryson

Does the turntable at Bryson work? If it does, how do I use it? If it doesn't, devs please make it work.

The way it is supposed to work… you enter the shack that is located on the turntable. Locate the lever that is mounted to the shack wall, below the window. Click and drag left or right depending on the direction you wish to rotate.

If you still can’t get it to operate, then it is a bug.

Except that the turntable is blocked when any part of any vehicle on the turntable protrudes the ends of the turning tracks.

Considering the whole game is capable of being run in third person, my own preference, it was for me a bit of a let down the turntable was not easier to manage in that same view.

That is what caused my concern because I also play strictly in third-person.

I can use the lever just fine in 3rd person grabbing it from outside through the window, and while i dont want external controls i can see that some people might prefer that.

Hopefully they wind up making the turntable a little bit more amenable for 3rd person.

I would agree that you can use the lever from outside, but aligning the tracks is horrible.

A quick heads up, if you ctrl-T in 3rd person view on the screen where you want to be located (NOT on the map, on the terrain) the game will automatically place you there in 1st person mode. When I turntable this is how I easily switch between the two

I have tried a few different ways in order to get the Turntable to work. No matter what I try, it still won't turn if a locomotive is on it. I can't see the bigger locomotives being an issue as they all fit.

The B-65 definitely doesn't fit. And the P-43 only works if you get it in a very specific spot. All other engines shouldn't be too difficult to get in the right place.

I just leave my avatar in the shed and go about my business. Then when I need to use the turntable, I'm already there.
