Multiple units.
Searched and got many differing opinions on how to make it work. Just guesses. I can't seam to make it work. Someone that has made it work and knows what will make it fail, please respond.

I set MU on both primary and 2nd locomotive and, they fight each other. the 2nd won't release brakes or won't flow the commands of the primary at all. I set MU on primary and Cut out & MU on 2nd and still, they fight each other and the 2nd unit won't follow the primary settings.

How do you get multiple units to actually work together.

What am I missing.

You set MU and Cutout on the slaves only. There is a problem with MU since last patch that now it will only work when the engines are next to each other in line. I have made a post a few days ago, but not many people seem to care.

Thanks for responding.

Well, Seams the latest update busted that as well.

Setting MU on both and Cut out on slave even when locos are together, Does not work at all,. The two locos fight each other and I get no where.

Same if I set both to MU and not set Cut Out. Manual or AI mode fails.

I can't get multiple units to work at all. Unless I set MU & 'cut off' to off and set both to AI and set both to forward and both to the speed I wan't. Sure makes stopping a bit of a long process.

Using Two steam locomotives, the T-17 Ten wheeler and the G-16 Mogul. Haven't tried any other locos yet.

This came from the devs (tech support for the game)

"Lead Locomotive: do not check MU or Cut-Out.
Other locomotives: check MU and Cut-Out."
