If I hire an employee and place them in the observation car are they like the bartender?? How bout in the regular passenger car, is that one the conductor?? If on a freight car do they chase away the hobo's?? What is the purpose of employees assigned to cars other than locomotives? Nothing I can find that explains their purpose.

employees are for year engine service area's, aka were you put stuff to get fixed,

The only employees that we have in game are for the repair shops, unless there is something you are seeing somewhere that makes you think otherwise?

Co-players are shown in the employees tab of the company Screen.

Go to company, crews Create crew. That crew can be assigned to a passenger or freight car in the cars operations tab. If i assign a crew to my observation car does it do anything like load/unload faster or something?

I feel it does nothing, nor do you pay any wages for said crew(s). I have 2 crews and I notice no benefits, no NPC figures in the locomotives, or any additional options. It may be a multiplayer feature, to assign people to various tasks that need to be conducted?

Oh no. It is an organizational tool for MP play... You also can use it for SP play to organize equipment and make switch lists.

Think about it if you had a crew in the observation lounge would get more fees from those passengers than not. Bring your own vs wait/bar staff.. Company members to make cars load unload faster. Also graphs to chart performance for more than 1 year.

That would make the game much more micro managy, but Ill put your idea on the pile.
