How to Make Passenger Service "100%"
Ive been doing passenger service, but I keep losing rep. I do a full run out, and a full run back. Anyway... what exactly are the metrics that are used to judge that? I just need to know that... no guesses.... just, exactly what I need to do. I cant even set a schedule.

Are you picking up/dropping off passengers at every available station?

Yes. That can’t be the only metric. Is there some timer?

I have noticed this as well. I think it dropped quite a bit when I missed a station by accident and the passengers stayed on the train to the end.

It should be by visiting all the stations once per day... Hmm.

I have had a passenger train waiting at a station for a in-game and real world hour once (1:1) because I play single player and was needing to break and make trains for local deliveries. Not sure if something happens to the tracking in-between. So its ONCE per day? So I can send a train out one day and be done, then send that train back the next day and be done?
Check the condition of your passenger cars and engines.

The observation car is damaged down to 98%. So the condition of the car counts?

Would leaving passengers at the station, because there was no room for them in the car effect reputation points? I had to buy another Pullman and my reputation has stayed above 100. Don't know if that was the reason. it hasn't dropped.

My reputation fell, so I bumped up the frequency. I'm now making two daily round trips between Bryson City and Sylva. Once in the morning, lv Sylva 6:30 AM arr Bryson 8:00, lv Bryson 8:30 arr Sylva 10:00. Then again in the afternoon: service train, lv Sylva 12:30 PM arr Bryson 2:00 PM, lv Bryson 2:30 arr Sylva 4:30 PM, service train. Try for +/- 30 minutes but don't always make it if there is switching to do in Bryson City.

The trade-off is that I'm not currently servicing any customers in Bryson City, at least until I get a station pilot locomotive for that area. Just the Freight House and the Team Track.

I noticed that pax don't wait long at stations for the next train. If you leave your train (or a car?) at the platform (with the destination(s) set) they take a seat and have much more patience. Waiting some hours isn't a problem any more. (They are probably RailRoad fans or are taking a nap.).

If you have enough tracks available you can use this to transport higher number of pax with a limited number of runs.

The only time my passenger service has taken a rep hit was the time I chose very early on in the current day to sleep and skip until the next day because all of my deliveries where done and I had made a passenger run. Since then I either increase the time to run out the day or skip ahead by the hour and have had no problems since

Not just the observation but the passenger cars and engine condition too. From my understanding (could be wrong), that effects the operations safety.

It was only the observation car. Going to fix it when I get on tonight... see if that helps.

Yea it should be once per day, but it sounds like something maybe off or maybe you had a bad day somehow? I couldn't really tell you atm.

Maybe you didnt serve all stations, specially not the middle ones in both directions?
