Uncrashed : FPV Drone Simulator

Free as a Bird
All current drone maps feature real-life objects, focusing on flying through tight spaces like between buildings or trees. It feels limited given the technology we have. Drones are capable of flying freely in any direction at speeds over 150 km/h, yet we still focus on navigating small, constrained spaces.

The only limit is imagination. Uncrashed is an incredibly addictive and fun game, and it has so much potential. But it feels like it’s still not fully utilizing the technology. Why not create digital maps in the sky where drones can follow open paths completely free without the worry of crashing into anything? I know the game is called Uncrashed, but if you can't hit anything, you can't crash anyway! (Just a joke, of course.)

In short: these are not cars; they're drones that fly fast and in any direction you want. Why limit it to tight and short spaces/distances? It's based too much on real life limitations, you could argue, drones aren't really limited in real life either... but that's another idea for another time.

Flying through small gaps close to the ground is about skill. Yes, drones are capable of more, but flying in open air doesn't truly show what a quadcopter is capable of.
Do you fly any quad irl? They are actually limited in real life by battery, radio signal range, weather conditions, and laws :steamhappy: They can fly fast but not indefinitely. And what's your idea? Have large open space with no obstacles just to fly in any direction? So what's the challenge, what's the fun? :steamfacepalm:
