Is it possible to hover in uncrashed?
Hi folks,

i got an avata 2 and if I just push the throttle, it just hovers in the air. when i do the same in uncrashed, i start to go in the direction i look to. Is it possible to change that?

Thanks in advance.

Avata in M is not in any way assisted so the people in this thread are simply wrong.

Hovering seems pretty hard to do, since I always have to adjust it from going up/down. Maybe different drowns or settings might be easier.

Try changing your Advanced / Throttle Curve to Low throttle 0.50 Medium throttle 1.00 and High throttle 2.0 I tried this with another drone setting I had and it felt like I had more control, like I could push the throttle up and just leave it there for a few seconds till I started tilting.

Avata is fully assisted. You are flying Acro that means every movement is controlled by you.

If you want Avata feel switch to Horizon/Angle mode (press A) It does not have Altitude controll like the avata has.

You need to learn to fly acro to master this Game ;) Avata does not need as much skill in Level mode ;)
Avata is for people who wants to do fpv with no skill, its fully assisted with DJI tech, but if you see a normal FPV drone there's no assist just the pilot on stick taking full control of the drone

Hey, Avata 2 owner here.
As olleorm mentioned - the avata in M mode behaves pretty similar to drones in uncrashed, but the uncrashed drones are quite more powerful. Start slow and with a lower camera angle - as you wil instinctivly try to level the horizon you won't go as fast with a lower angle.

I started practicing with 5° and just a few hours in you will get the jist :)

When I first started, I'd just give a little throttle and pay attention to where your horizon is. After that you can throw in some left and right roll and then try to re-center not moving your pitch. After you can re-center with roll and stay in place start pitching down and up and try to re-center your pitch to where the horizon needs to be to keep it hovering. Noting horizon and not changing camera angle all the time really helps in the early stages of acro. Keep sending, brotha.

Man setting this to 0 made a massive difference. I can suddenly actually slow fly and practice. ACRO is great, 30 degrees forces you to move too quickly if you're not ready.

fly on, my droogz.
Flying the Drone with 45 degrees angle, I depend on the artificial horizon bar for a reference point on how level the drone is. I am more dependent on the actual 'horizon' level - at least how things appear to be as I am used to when the drone is on a level attitude. It feels like my head is lifter up, and I try to lower my eyes to see what is beneath; or a car with a long hood, and narrow windshield, where I have to gauge my surroundings with less input.
