how to configure controls correctly?

Is there any tutorial how to configure controls?
I first started without configuring and I was able to fly, but when I moved control up or down drone rotated very quickly.
So I went into configuration, I tried this guide and after that axis are totally messed up. Tried 3 times.
I use xbox one s gamepad.

i use DJI RC3 controller for my both avata2 and NEO, soon my first real fpv drone, GEPRC Domain 4.2 arrives this week :)

First thing that comes to mind is you need that Zero Throttle control. Xbox thumb controllers are spring loaded to return to centre stick position. Not really any good for Acro flying. Would get you flying but not close to what you want really. Chk out the BetaFpv controller on Amazon, cheap.
