Be Kind Rewind annoying bug

I have been enjoying this game but after the shoot out just as I talk to the store owner the game crashes each time! Switching off DLSS or changing to XESS or FSR did not solve it either :( please fix!

I have the same exact problem, and nothing i have tried worked. And I'm too many hours in to refund .. not that I want to, but game is completely broke now.

UPDATE - I found a fix , turning on XeSS allowed me to get past that part. You have to enable upscaling for the feature to be selected. I set it to Performance.
