Cat still visible in apartment after being saved in Burning Apartment quest

I'm at the part where the city is in chaos and I did the Burning apartment quest where you have to find the guy's cat before he leaves. I found the cat and triggered the cutscene, but distressingly the cat's model seems to stay in place even after you've "saved" it. Please fix this bug so the cat does not die in a fire
