Targeting effect is broken

During the prison missions
the targeting effect was simply broken. It didn't do the vertical and horizontal line effects anymore until the target lock, simply highlights with the green border. Is this some kind of bug or did something similar happen to anyone?

Same is happening to me.. I am no longer getting the cross bars when targeting, it just stopped.

I got this bug throughout the entire game. Sometimes those "targeting" effects just disappeared.

It looks less cool, but makes combat encounters easier, especially in low visibility (darkness, dust, smoke etc.)

If you haven't upgraded to that point, I sadly have no suggestions.

♥♥♥♥, it's my case. What a cuetionable decision, it takes all the charm and feeling out of the original movies and turns it into something so generic and boring. Anyway it's not a bug but a bad design decision.... thanks for the reply.

So, this bug is still happening even after patch 2. But i think it's only the mercenaries (starting at prison) which are affected. I noticed that in the last level. Droids were scanned, mercenaries not.

Still happening to me on the Quarry level. No crosshair or highlights on enemies.

mine gets stuck then screens black till after 30 seconds it closes the game... wtf, and from reading the post my god this thing is uber buggy, is this another developer rushing a game out then never supporting it until sales drop?
