"Drop" key not rebindable
I changed my "Interact" key so it's no longer E (it's Numpad 1, if that's relevant), but whenever I pick up something like a gas tank or a computer monitor, I still need to use E to drop it.

If there are mounted turrets or vehicles or anything later in the game, I'm guessing those are also dis-mounted with E regardless of what you have bound, too - just since it seems like a bug that exists in every game, where whatever you bind the Interact key to doesn't let you un-interact.

I found a solution for this myself but it involves editing the GameUserSettings.ini directly, located in C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\RoboCop\Saved\Config\Windows

At the bottom of the file is a list of "ActionMappings;" to fix my issue I had to add the line
ActionMappings=(Action="ReleaseThrowing",bIsAxis=False,Scale=0.000000,Key1=NumPadOne,Key2=None,GamepadKey=None,bHold=False)
to the list.

The only reason I know the name of the command is ReleaseThrowing is due to this resource on Nexus Mods -
RoboCop: Rogue City PAK Config files[www.nexusmods.com]
- in which I found \Game\Config\DefaultInput.ini which has all the commands including the ones not found in GameUserSettings.ini, in a similar format.

Some others from that list which should be in the in-game keybinds menu, but aren't, include:
  • Restart (quickloads the last checkpoint - default key: F4)
  • Skip (skips cutscenes, movies, and dialog - default key: SpaceBar)
  • Skills (opens the skill tree - default key: K)
  • HUDInputAction (does a lot of miscellaneous things including allowing you to bypass opening the journal to track new missions; a tooltip appears on-screen whenever it is available - default key: Q)

You rock! Thanks man. That worked for me.
I am an ESDF player. There are dozens of us out there, I swear! Some games claim to have full key editing but in practice you can tell they don't really test it out in-house. At east not moving the WASD around.
I saw my Activate set to "Key1=ThumbMouseButton" near the bottom of the .ini and then pasted yours in and changed it to ThumbMouseButton and now my pick up and drop is the same.
