Unable to progress Isolated Incident

Unable to progress after the dialogue in the briefing room. I lose control of the mouse, I can no longer aim. So I cant turn around or look at anything, the objective says leave the station but I cant look at the door handle of the car which has the prompt that says "leave the station" so I cannot press the corresponding button to progress through the next objective

Actually I get this after every single dialogue, and it's pretty annoying but if press escape to get to the menu, leave the menu and click anywhere then go back to the menu then back to the game I get full control back. I don't know why it's like that, appears to just have a hard time switching between modes but doesn't happen if I never use the mouse in dialogues.

thanks I tried what you said but it didnt work. I should mention I usually use a xbox controller to play. I tried switch back and forth between controller , mouse and keyboard but nothing works. After the chief stops talking i am able to walk forward backwards and side ways but i cant look around. When I try moving the mouse to look around, the Hud moves on the screen a bit.

Are you playing in fullscreen or something else? I suspect running in fullscreen is why it happens to me but my last checkpoint is getting fatal error so I haven't been able to test

Yeah I'm playing in full screen, Ive tried all the other modes and nothing works. Man I was so excited, playing with a huge grin on my face until this happened.

I loaded a save that had an actual name starting with 02, so not an AUTOSAVE thats whats important and play from there. Don't do any side missions, go to the doc, then to the shooting range missions, then to the briefing room and it should pass. You can do the side quests and collectibles after.

no worries, let us enjoy : ) I put 5 more hrs in, it hasn't happened again, so let's hope it stays that way, indeed!

I had the same issue. Loaded one save back, before I carried the puke guy, and it worked after that. Strange bug, this one.
