Bug at Search for soot

Continued my demo save up to where it cuts you off and now for some reason everytime i try to leave the area it just says continue with the main quest, the current objective is "drive to the old slaughterhouse" and the waypoint just stays there.

You have to do the side mission first where you talk to the missing cops kid etc. After that the car will be nearby and you can leave.

I'm having the same issue and this did not resolve the problem for me. I have no more secondary objectives left. Only thing I have left to do is the main mission - driving to the slaughterhouse. And it won't let me leave like OP.

Same problem after doing the demo, the exit is blocked the same way.
I have done the other new secondary quest (Casey case), I have found a new "secret" zone in the arcade but it did not unblock the path.

Might be quicker to restart from the beginning from a fresh save...

I guess, it's going to affect everyopne, who played the demo (long enough).
Hoping for a fix 'cause I'm not gonna start over for bs like that.

The only thing that worked for me was actually just reloading to an earlier named point
