The game keeps switching monitors when I go to a new area and I have to restart the game everytime to fix it

I have 2 monitors. For some reason sometimes when I go to a new area (any place that requires a loading screen) it switches to my 2nd monitor. This is really annoying as I have to restart the game to fix it.
