Robocop rogue city demo disappeared?

Looking for the robocop demo on the store page but can’t find it?!? Have they taken it off?

I think they have but it seems if you already had it downloaded it still works. The demo was probably generating too much bad pr due to bugs and bad game design.

It was a time limited demo released for the Steam Next Fest event.
I downloaded it last week and cannot play it any more.
I enjoyed it a lot though!

Oh yeah the demo also contained files which spoiled the ending of the game, someone posted about it on here but they deleted the thread. Basically the end game scene or something was in the demo files so. I didn't care enough to actually look myself.

Mortal Kombat 2011 did something similar. The entire script was for their story mode was data mined.

Considering the demo was so bad it actually made people cancel their pre-orders, they probably shouldn't have put it up in the first place. To pull it 2 weeks before launch is a really bad look too though.

It was always a timed demo. The massive update fixed most of the issues.

I have no way of knowing that since they pulled it. It was unplayable when I tried it due to the stuttering.

NextFest event is over, it was a Steam event, all those demos are done.

Playing the demo convinced me to buy it.

If you still have the files on your drive you can still play by running the game directly from game folder
